In UK, there are some amazing hops grown. Hop varieties with aromas ranging from tangerine and citrus, to marmalade, spice and floral. Alongside hop growers, the UK also boasts centuries of history of malting barley for beer too.
Choosing to use 100% home grown ingredients for their core range was a no-brainer. With all these wonderful ingredients and producers Good Karma get to support local farmers and significantly reduce their food miles.
The UK focuses strongly on building natural disease resistance crops, making British hops both environmentally friendly and inevitably more appealing. Very few British hops are irrigated, making them some of the most environmentally sustainable in the world.
These factors are important to Good Karma's sustainability ambitions and Good Karma also aim to use organic ingredients where possible.
