Sustainability:
These packaging requirements obviously mean we will need to use plastics in the delivery process. However at Drink Free Co we do strive to minimise our environmental impact by using recyclable materials.
We would ask that you please do try to recycle all packaging where possible. To further reduce waste, consider ordering cartons when purchasing beers/ ciders.
While we do encourage you to recycle where possible, we also take responsibility for our use of plastics. To help offset some of the impact of our use of plastics, we choose to donate to our preferred charity Plastic Neutral Collection.
Their program attracts donations to support partnering with remote and vulnerable communities around the world who operate their own plastic waste collecting and recycling enterprises. Projects collect and recycle plastic waste on behalf of donors so they can offset their plastic foot print and aim to strive to be "plastic neutral".
The aim of the program is to offer a Company's or Individual the chance to make donations that will pay for certain weights of of plastic to be collected and recycled saving the need for the creation of more plastics.
At Drink Free Co we strive to monitor our use of plastic and aim to donate to match our usage of plastics to try our best to be as close to "Plastic Neutral" as possible. We also continue to search for ways to improve our delivery services to further reduce our use of plastics.
